Choosing The Perfect E-bike
With so many different types of electric bikes, and regular bikes out there, how are you supposed to know what best suits your needs? Over the last few months, we have literally been through hundreds of electric bike/bike websites and there is one huge factor that we have found in common: most of them state the facts, and leave it up to you to decide which bike best suits you. Though this is no problem to people experienced in bikes and e-bike alike, we can definitely see how it would be a bit much for a newcomer to this market.
Why is this important?
The most exciting thing about this fascinating new technology is the potential it has to help so many people: they can take cars off the road, help people enjoy their commute, save people money, give people with disabilities their freedom, and much more. Why does this matter? We understand that most of you looking into e-bikes are not necessarily "experienced cyclists", and that there is a broad range of people with a wide range of needs/preferences looking for e-bikes. To the average person looking for their new vehicle/bike/toy, it is hard to distinguish the facts from the "sales talk".
That is why it is our responsibility to help you make the right decision when choosing your e-bike. As important as it is to know the specs of your e-bike, it is more important that you know whether or not it will suit YOUR needs. After all, isn't that the only thing that matters in the end anyways?
How can we address this problem from our end?
We're going to be doing a little "miniseries" of blog posts, during which we will outline the pros and cons of each of our bikes, as well as what types of lifestyles each bike would suit best. The purpose of this will be to give you a better idea of which bike may be best for you and your needs, without just throwing technical buzzwords at you and leaving you to make your own decision. For the people who like to do extensive research on a product before they buy it (which they should), we hope this little miniseries will help you out. For those who aren't as research intensive, we hope that this series will help inform your decision without taking too much of your time as well. Stay tuned! Hope this helps!
